Introduction

Donghua University is a national university situated in Shanghai, China. It was established in 1951 and under the Ministry of Education of China and  China's Project 211. The university has cooperative relations with more than 100 international universities, research institutions, and enterprises. It contains two campuses, one in Changning District and the other one in Songjiang District in Shanghai. Its disciplines have received a good reputation in China and other countries, such as Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, International Trade, Material Science, and Information Technology.

Specialty

Donghua University has 13 affiliated colleges and schools. It also offers 54 undergraduate programs, 59 master's degree programs, 30 doctoral degree programs, and five postdoctoral research programs. There are six state key disciplines and 7 Shanghai municipal key disciplines. The university gained Academic achievements in different fields such as aeronautics, military science, new material, architecture, and environment protection. Among Chinese colleges and universities, the number of valid patents ranks top 12. The university contains over 2,800 faculty and staff and more than 30,000 enrolled students at present. Donghua University( DHU) also successfully held international conferences and forums in the disciplines such as textile, fashion, and material. The university is among the first Chinese universities that accept international students. Till now, Donghua University has welcomed international students from more than 130 countries.

Scholarship Details

The Donghua University hosts Chinese Government Scholarships (CGS) or Shanghai Municipal Government (SGS). For Scholarships, all candidates should be non-Chinese citizens. A candidate applying for a master's degree must be under 35 years old and hold a bachelor's degree, while for a doctoral degree, a candidate must be under 40 years old and have a master's degree. The scholarship coverage includes tuition and accommodation fees, living allowance, and medical insurance fees. The deadline and a living allowance of Scholarships vary depending on the degree program and scholarship type.

Admission Details

To apply for Donghua University, students have to follow the eligibility criteria. It includes a candidate must have a high school degree, good health and good command of English, and must be non -Chinese citizen for undergraduate programs. The applicants have to submit an online form with a scanned copy of their passport, official transcripts, and certificate. To apply to Postgraduate programs, candidates must have a bachelor's degree, good health, good command of English, and must be non -Chinese citizens. The applicants have to submit an online form with a scanned copy of their passport, official transcripts of a bachelor's degree and certificate of bachelor's degree, two recommendation letters, plan of study. For Doctoral programs, candidates must have a master's degree, good health, good command of English, and must be non -Chinese citizens. The applicants have to submit an online form with a scanned copy of their passport, official transcripts of masters and certificates of a master's degree, two recommendation letters, and a study plan. All documents must be submitted within the due date.
